As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.”
Lord,
Thank You that You are holy and that You have created me to be like You. I am sorry for the ways that my selfishness and sinful choices sometimes get in the way of me being like You. Help me to daily surrender who I am to Your will and to allow You to do a work of holiness in my life, transforming me from the inside out. I want nothing more than for my life to be marked by Your fingerprints. Change my heart and my mind and give me a desire to run after You and to be who You are calling me to be. Amen.
