Read Romans 12:3-4 NLT

Because of the privilege and authority God has given me, I give each of you this warning: Don’t think you are better than you really are. Be honest in your evaluation of yourselves, measuring yourselves by the faith God has given us. Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other.

Our world is wonderfully diverse by God’s design! But that diversity doesn’t need to divide us. In fact, God’s design was to create unity by harnessing the beauty and strength of our diversity for a single purpose  – to know God and make Him known. That will take all of us – a united body of Christ.

Lord,
Shake up our hearts this week. Give us eyes to see the beauty in the diversity you have created and then give us hearts that desire to be a bridge – drawing all of your children in and working to celebrate what you can do through us when we view Jesus as the person who unites us. Amen.
