From the beginning, we’ve always been about deepening our relationship with Jesus, together. No matter where we meet or how many people call Cross Creek home, that doesn’t change.
Cross Creek started with small groups meeting in homes, and developed into a core group that founded the church. We’ve met in various locations — from a karate dojo and bowling alley to a former funeral home and the custom-built space we currently enjoy.
Our first public service was in the Garlock House building, in November 1994. Our pastor, David Prince, joined us the following June and we moved to the Vienna Street location in July of 1996. Construction of our current facility started in 2007, and we began services here in October of 2008.
Cross Creek is a member of the Free Methodist Church of North America.
We aim to be a faith community where it’s safe to ask questions and learn together. The foundation of our beliefs is made of three basic ideas. We’d love to talk more if you have a specific question or are interested in learning more through our “Inside Cross Creek” class.
We believe in God.
God is gracious, loving, and active in our world, and has eternally existed in three co-equal personalities: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe we need God.
We were created in God’s image, but our sin separates us from God and from living out our fullest, intended life.
We believe in new life and restoration.
God made a way for us to be reunited with Him through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and through the ongoing presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
