What is Night to Shine?
Night to Shine is an unforgettable prom night experience centered on God’s love for people with special needs ages 14 and older.
In February 2020, 721 churches representing 36 denominations and 215,000 volunteers in 50 states and 34 countries came together on one night to celebrate 110,000 honored guests with special needs in what has become not just a nationwide event, but a worldwide movement, celebrating people with special needs. We are so excited to host Night to Shine in February 2024!
Night to Shine will be held on Friday, February 9, 2024 from 6 PM to 9 PM.
Night to Shine will be hosted by Cross Creek Church, located on 3700 NY-31, Palmyra NY 14522.
Night to Shine is open to anyone with special needs ages 16 and older.
Guest Registration opens on December 1, 2023.
We encourage you to dress up in your favorite formalwear (dress, gown, suit, or tux) or whatever makes you feel beautiful or handsome!
Every guest of Night to Shine will walk the red carpet complete with a warm welcome from a friendly crowd and paparazzi. The complimentary event will give each guest the royal treatment in offering: hair and makeup stations, shoe shining stations, a karaoke room, photo booths, limousine rides, corsages and boutonnieres, prom favors, a catered dinner, a respite room for parents or caretaker and of course, DANCING. The highlight comes when every one of our Night to Shine guests is crowned a king or queen of the prom.
Volunteer Registration opens on November 15, 2023.
When you register to volunteer you will be able to read all of the roles that are available. We have pre-event roles and event roles to fill. If you select an event role you must be able to commit to February 9, 2024, and the snow date of February 10, 2024. There is also mandatory training for the Event Roles.
